For me, Day II is better than their competitor.
I've been a loyal customer of Game Country products for many years, as my Dad was before me. The Day II timer is the best, most trouble-free timer I've ever used, and I've used a number of other brands. In fact, one other well known (unnamed) brand was so unreliable and problem prone that I swore to never again purchase one. By contrast, I've owned at least a dozen Game Country Day II timers and have never had one fail to perform. These timers stay out in all kinds of adverse weather conditions, from rain, to hail, to snow, through summer heat and winter cold and keep on working flawlessly. I am an unabashed fan of the company and its products and will always remain a loyal customer.
Andy, thank you very much for the review. We value your loyalty, and it's what drives us everyday to build the best Feeder Mechanism in the marketplace. Thank you!
I purchased my game country feeder approximately 15 to 20 years ago and have used it every year since receiving it with out any problems. Last year I mounted it on a 30 gallon drum and fed the deer 365 days straight with out it missing a beat. I use 6 volt rechargeable batteries and swap them out every 6 weeks with plenty of power still left in them. I just ordered another game country motor to put on the shelf just in case this one ever gets tired but I don’t see this happening anytime soon. I live in south Alabama where the weather gets hot in the summer and sometimes in the teens in the winter and it has never been affected by the weather. Has even go through two hurricanes without any problems. I would highly recommend this feeder to anyone that wants the best feeder on the market. Thank you Game Country for a great product and keep up the good work.
Tony, thank you for your purchase 15-20 years ago and taking the time to share your experience. It's always been our passion to build the best deer feeders on the market.
I purchased my first Day II in the mid nineties. It was the best investment I ever made because it did what it was supposed to do and lasted 20 years. I usually just leave my feeders up all year. The following year I would fill my feeders, replaced the batteries and that was it. I never had to touch them again unless they needed more feed. Even better is they are made in the USA.
Terry, we appreciate the review. Thanks for supporting us!
